Springfield Cardinals pitcher Mitchell Boggs is playing for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League this fall. In this audio interview, he focuses on his 2007 campaign and looks to the future.

6-foot-3 pitcher Mitchell Boggs was the St. Louis Cardinals' fifth-round pick in the 2005 draft from the University of Georgia. This past season, the right-hander went 11-7 with a 3.84 ERA starting for Double-A Springfield. He allowed a very high 167 hits in 152 innings. He fanned 117, but also walked 62. Boggs became one of the players invited to participate in the Arizona Fall League this year.

During the 2006 season at Class A-Advanced Palm Beach, Boggs drew attention with a 10-6 record and a 3.41 ERA, but also gave up more hits than innings pitched, 153 in 145 innings. While starting now, he may eventually slated for a bullpen role in the Majors.

Boggs talks about his 2007 season, what he is working on during his stint in the Arizona Fall League and what his future may hold in this exclusive audio interview.
