Cardinals Minors Spring Training Report: 3/24

Monday's St. Louis Cardinals minor league spring training game results. Pitcher and Player of the Day are Adam Ottavino and Joe Mather, respectively.

On Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals moved over to the Florida Marlins' fields at the Roger Dean Stadium complex in Jupiter, Florida for a five-game set. The "away" Cardinals went 3-2 on the afternoon.

Among the players who took the bus with the big club to Fort Myers instead of playing in minor league games were Colby Rasmus, Rico Washington, Nick Derba, Matt Pagnozzi, Mark Hamilton, Nick Stavinoha along with pitchers Josh Dew and Bob Zimmerman.

Tuesday's opponents are themselves as the Cardinals have another "camp" day during which no games against outside opponents are planned. At one point, both Braden Looper and Matt Clement were scheduled to throw on the minor league fields. Cardinals Pitcher of the Day – Monday
