Cards Post of the Week – May 18 through 24

Recognizing the very best post of the past week from our message board community of thousands of St. Louis Cardinals fans the world over. "GMan0311" is our 136th weekly winner!

As we do each and every week here at stlcardinals.scout.com, we call out the best of the best - the "Post of the Week" from our Scout.com St. Louis Cardinals message board.

Here is the link to the Message Boards, of which there are several – for fantasy players, insider information for subscribers, general topics, non-Cardinals sports and more.

This article covers the week ending Saturday, May 24.

Our newest moderator, "kotheb", put the beef into a thread with a poorly-spelled title, but topical subject, "wellymeyer", with an analysis of the results of arguably the most consistent of the Cardinals' starting pitching staff this season.

A regular contributor on the boards is "SydneyDave", who compared the home-grown nature of the Cardinals starters to those from the Tampa Bay Rays in the thread, "One More Time on the Draft".

Because of its partial focus on a certain top prospect, one discussion has received a high level of external attention this past week, even from the traditional print media including a ***ahem*** major newspaper that covers the Cardinals. It is entitled "AAA vs the MLB level (A look at some positions we need help in)". On page 12, "GMan0311" compares Colby Rasmus' progress against other top outfielders from the 2005 draft class.

In recognition, "GMan0311" is our 136th winner of the "Post of the Week" recognition. He collects a free four-week subscription extension to stlcardinals.scout.com and all the other great sites in the Scout.com network.

Next week, it can be you! So, keep posting!
