Mexican Pacific League

 

Hugo Castellanos (Memphis-free agent) has made 17 appearances (one start) posting a 1-1 record, 5.74 ERA, and two holds.  He's allowed 19 hits, 11 runs (ten earned), one home run, seven walks, and struck out nine over 15.2 innings.

Obregon (14-24) had Monday off, visit Mochis (23-15) Tuesday @ 7:30pm MST.

 

Former Memphis Redbird Shawn Garrett was activated by Guasave.

 

Francisco Rivera (Quad Cities): Still on the Culiacan disabled list.

Jason Motte (St. Louis): Tentatively expected to join Hermosillo.

 

Veracruz Instructional League (Mexico)

 

Minatitlan (2-1) took two of three games from Tuxtlas (3-3) and will begin a three-game series vs. Mixtequilla (0-6) starting Tuesday.  Joe Rogers (Memphis) could possibly get his second start in the next three-game set following this series.

 

Venezuelan League

 

Jose Martinez (Springfield) and Jose Rada (GCL): Did not play for Aragua.

Aragua scored the tying and go-ahead run in the bottom of the ninth beating Caracas 6-5: link

Aragua (14-15) hosts La Guaira (18-15) Tuesday @ 7:30pm VST.

 

Luke Gregerson (Springfield): Did not pitch for Margarita.

Margarita (13-19) had Monday off, welcome Caracas (22-10) Tuesday @ 8:00pm VST.

 

Cesar Izturis (St. Louis-free agent): Expected to join Lara in the coming weeks.

Sergio Nieves (July 2nd Signing) has made seven appearances (three starts) posting an 0-3 record and 3.86 ERA.  He's allowed 22 hits, 13 runs (eight earned), one home run, nine walks, and struck out over 18.2 innings.

Jackson Solarte (VSL) has made eight relief appearances posting a 2-0 record and 2.03 ERA.  He's allowed 13 hits, five runs (three earned), 12 walks, and struck out ten over 13.1 innings.

Kleinenger Teran (GCL) is batting .222 with one double, one home run, four RBIs, ten total bases, four runs, two walks, two strikeouts, .300 OBP and .370 SLG in 15 games.
