Mexican Pacific League


Hugo Castellanos (Memphis-free agent): Entered in the sixth and pitched 1.2 innings.  Allowed no hits or runs, one walks, and struck out two.  (ground out-fly out: 2-1) (inherited runners-scored: 1-0)

The game was called in the 12th inning as Obregon tied Mochis 5-5: link

Obregon (14-26) host Guasave (21-20) Friday @ 7:30pm MST.


Former Cardinal prospect Mike McCoy went 0-for-2 with one run and three walks for Navojoa.

Former Cardinal prospect Reid Gorecki went 2-for-5 with one double, three RBIs, and one run for Navajoa.

Francisco Rivero (Quad Cities): Still on the Culiacan disabled list.

Jason Motte (St. Louis): Tentatively expected to join Hermosillo.


Veracruz Instructional League (Mexico)


Joe Rogers (Memphis): Started and pitched 4.2 innings.  Allowed five hits, no runs, one walks, and struck out three for his first win in league play.

Venezuelan League


Jose Martinez (Springfield) and Jose Rada (GCL): Did not play for Aragua.

Aragua beat Magallanes 9-7: link

Aragua (17-15) visit Magallanes (14-22) Friday @ 7:30pm VST.

Cesar Izturis (St. Louis-free agent): Started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  4-for-5 with one home run, two RBIs and one run.

Lara gave up eight runs in the second inning and couldn't recover losing 13-8 to La Guaira: link

Luke Gregerson (Springfield): Did not pitch for Margarita.


Mark Worrell (Memphis): Tentatively expected to join Zulia.


Venezuelan Parallel League

Fernando Cedeno (VSL): Started and lasted two innings.  Allowed three hits, three unearned runs, two walks, and threw one wild pitch.  (ground out-fly out: 3-2)

Caribes took the game in the 12th, beating Caracas 7-4: link


Jose Garcia (Batavia): Started at second base and batted leadoff.  2-for-3 with one double, one RBI, two runs, one sacrifice, one stolen base, and assisted in one double play.

Jose Calero (GCL): Started and pitched 4.1 innings.  Allowed five hits, two runs (one earned), four walks, and struck out three.  (ground out-fly out: 5-4)

Reynier Gonzalez (Johnson City): Followed Calero and pitched 2.2 innings.  Allowed one hit, no runs, and struck out two en route to his first win in league play.  (ground out-fly out:5-0)(inherited runners-scored:2-0)

Anthony Fonseca (VSL): Started in right field and batted 2nd.  1-for-3 with one double, one two-out RBI, and one walk.

Roberto Espinoza (Quad Cities): Started at catcher and batted 4th.  1-for-1 with one run, three walks, and one stolen base.

Billy Bolivar (VSL): Started in centerfield and batted 8th.  1-for-4 with one run and two stolen bases.

Carlos Oraa (VSL): Started and pitched five innings.  Allowed six hits, two earned runs, hit two batters, and struck out three.  (ground out-fly out: 7-3)

David Brito (VSL): Followed Oraa and pitched two innings.  Allowed two hits and no runs.  (ground out-fly out: 3-3)

Jackson Solarte (VSL): Followed Brito and pitched two innings.  Allowed two hits, on earned run, one walk, threw one wild pitch, and struck out three en route to his first loss in league play.  (ground out-fly out: 2-1)

St. Louis gave up the winning run in the eighth and lost 3-2 to Philadelphia: link

Venezuelan Parallel Western League


Richard Castillo (Quad Cities): Did not pitch for Marineros-Lara.

Jose Penaloza (GCL): Did not pitch for Zulia.

Marineros-Lara scored three in the first and held off Zulia for a 3-2 victory.


Dominican Republic League


Amaury Marti (Memphis) is batting .304 with nine doubles, two triples, four home runs, 26 RBIs, 62 total bases, 19 runs, 14 walks, 29 strikeouts, .377 OBP, .504 SLG, and .881 OPS in 33 games.

D'Angelo Jimenez (Memphis-free agent) is batting .263 with two doubles, one home run, 13 RBIs, 26 total bases, 14 runs, 20 walks, 19 strikeouts, .406 OBP, .325 SLG, and .731 OPS in 26 games.  He has lost playing time with the arrival of Ron Belliard.

Licey (19-14) had Thursday off, visit Estrellas (8-25) Friday @ 8:00pm AST.


Luis Perdomo (Springfield) has made seven relief appearances posting an 0-1 record and 14.54 ERA.  He's allowed eight hits, nine runs (seven earned), two walks, and struck out three over 4.1 innings.  His last appearance came November 12th, so he may not be with the team any longer (unconfirmed).

Aguilas (17-15) had Thursday off, welcome Azucareros (19-14) Friday @ 8:00pm AST.


Colombian League


All games were canceled again, due to rain on Thursday: link

Puerto Rican League


League had Thursday off.


For Santurce:

Rigoberto Lugo (Batavia) made his only relief appearance on November 7.  He allowed no hits, one unearned run, one walk, hit one batter, and struck out one over one inning.


For Carolina:

Luis Mateo (Johnson City) has gone 2-for-3 with one total base and one run in three games.  He has not played since November 9th.

Bryan Anderson (Memphis) is batting .238 with two RBIs, five total bases, two runs, five walks, three strikeouts, .429 OBP, .238 SLG, and .667 OPS in 12 games.

P.J. Walters (Memphis) has made five starts posting an 0-3 record and 6.52 ERA.  He's allowed 28 hits, 16 runs (14 earned), two home runs, seven walks, and struck out 24 over 19.1 innings.

Yadier Molina (St. Louis): Expected to join the Carolina in December.
