Mexican Pacific League

Hugo Castellanos (Memphis-free agent): Entered in the eighth and pitched to two batters. Allowed two hits and two earned runs while blowing the save and picking up his third loss in league play. (inherited runners-scored:2-2)

Former Memphis Redbird Dan Serafini was activated and started this game for Obregon.

Former Memphis Redbird Iker Franco hit a two-run home run for Obregon.

Obregon gave up seven runs in the final two frames and lost 10-5 to Guasave

Obregon (15-28) have Monday off, welcome Mochis (26-17) Tuesday @ 7:30pm MST.

Francisco Rivera (Quad Cities): Still on the Culiacan disabled list.


Veracruz Instructional League (Mexico)

Joe Rogers (Memphis): Did not pitch for Minatitlan.

Minatitlan scored one in the bottom of the ninth to beat Santa Rosa 8-7

Cesar Izturis (St. Louis-free agent): Started at shortstop and batted leadoff. 2-for-4 with one double and one run.

Luke Gregerson (Springfield): Entered in the eighth and pitched two innings. Allowed three hits, one earned run, one home run, one walk, and struck out two en route to his first loss in league play. (ground out-fly out:4-0). Lara scored one run in the eighth and held off Margarita 2-1

Jose Martinez (Springfield) and Jose Rada (GCL): Did not play for Aragua.

Aguilas' outfielder and current MiLB free agent Victor Diaz tied the single season record for home runs, hitting his 14th on Saturday.

Aguilas' outfielder and former major leaguer Luis Polonia became the all-time runs scored leader in the league with his 497th run on Saturday


Colombian League

Nick Derba(Palm Beach) is injured and most likely headed back home.

Yadier Molina (St. Louis): Started as catcher and batted 7th. 2-for-4 with one double, one two-out RBI, one sacrifice, and ground into one double play.

P.J. Walters (Memphis) and Bryan Anderson (Memphis): Did not play for Carolina.

Rigoberto Lugo (Batavia): Did not pitch for Santurce.

Carolina doubled up Santurce 6-3
