Are Holliday and his wife pushing to test free agency or asking Boras to forego it? Only the four people that were meeting in that hotel courtyard know for sure.

I bet St. Louis Vice President and General Manager John Mozeliak would have given his first-born to have been a fly on that wall. His personal 2009-2010 off-season as well as that of his organization's will likely be defined by his success or failure to entice the 29-year-old outfielder to remain with the organization in 2010 and beyond.
