Quite a few Dominican-born Cardinals still in their early careers.

Venezuelan Winter League (Oct. 9)

Leones de Carcas: Jon Jay.

Tigres de Aragua: Jose Rada, Jose Martinez, Javier Avendano, Deimer Bier, Jose Calero, Omar Diaz, Reynier Gonzalez, Pablo Ortiz, Jorge Rondon, Eduardo Sanchez, Jesus Montero, Domnit Bolivar, Hector Garcia, Jose Garcia, Romulo Ruiz, Kleininger Teran, Kaizer Inojoza, Frederick Parejo, Moises Colorado, and Ruben Alvarado.

Cardenales de Lara: Richard Castillo.  If he does pitch, it will be a brief stay.

Bravos de Margarita: Kristhiam Linares.

Caribes de Anzoategui: Tyler Greene, Roberto Espinoza, and Kevin Moscatel.  VSL Cardinals manager Enrique Brito runs the team.

Aguilas del Zulia: Jonathan Gonzalez, Geney Rios, Carlos Oraa, and Orlando Munoz.

Venezuelan Parallel and Western Parallel League (2nd Week Of Oct.)

Many Venezuelan-born Cardinals' prospects spread across several teams.

Puerto Rican Winter League (Nov. 12)

Criollos de Caguas: Casey Mulligan.

Gigantes de Carolina: Luis Mateo. Jose Oquendo will not manage this season, instead staying behind in St. Louis.  The team is also facing some financial problems and has a chance of either not playing the 2009-10 season or being sold to another owner(s).

Leones de Ponce: Joe Thurston.  Thurston will be a free agent after the 2009 season and will most likely be looking to showcase for a job next season.

Colombian Winter League (Oct. 23)

Caimanes de Barranquilla: Donovan Solano and Alexander Castellano.

Leones de Monteria: John DeAguas with newly named manager and Cardinals' Colombian scout Neder Horta.  Horta held tryouts for any eager unsigned talents this past week.

Toros de Sincelejo: Cardinals' roving instructor Dann Bilardello returns to manage again for the 2009-10 season and he also announced Cardinals' Latin scout Christian Blanco as his third base coach.  Tim Leveque served as pitching coach for the Toros last season.  Expect a handful of Cardinals' prospects to play.

Both Jarred Bogany and Edwin Gomez have been rumored as possible candidates for the league.

Nicaraguan Prospect League (Currently Running)

La Trinidad: Johnny Polanco

Unica: Jem Argenal

Nicaraguan Winter League (Oct. 23)

Palm Beach's pitching coach Dennis Martinez has made numerous attempts to contact the league to communicate his interest in managing the Granada team, but the league continues to ignore him.  If the LNBP does allow him to coach, he has said he will bring along Cardinals' prospects to play this winter.

Note: These are not all set in stone at this time, as many teams are currently still in the midst of tryouts.
