ESPN's Jorge Arangure confirmed (via source) that the St. Louis Cardinals will be meeting with Cuban free agent Aroldis Chapman on Monday.  Arangure says that the Cardinals are looking to show they are serious bidders for the 21-year old left-hander.

Kiley McDaniel of Baseball Prospectus posted a video for each of the following, Colombian catcher Jorge Alfaro and Dominican shortstop Estailon Peguero.  McDaniel also said that 20-year old Dominican outfielder Eladio Moronta had a workout last weekend.  Moronta was just reinstated from an MLB suspension after falsifying documents of his age.

I was informed a month or so ago that the St. Louis Cardinals do not have any interest in Dominican catcher/first baseman Jacob Beltre.  The Cardinals scouts saw one workout and walked away unimpressed.
