Arizona Fall League

 

Daryl Jones (Springfield) started in left field and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, two strikeouts, and one outfield assist.

Tyler Henley (Springfield) started in right field and batted eighth.  1-for-4 with one strikeout.

 

Mesa beat Surprise 9-8

Surprise (10-15) hosts Peoria Javelinas (17-8) Thursday @ 12:35 PM MST.

 

 

Mexican Pacific League

 

Hugo Castellanos (Former Memphis-Mexicali) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, and hit one batter for the save (1). (g/f:1-1)(ir-s:1-1)

Yhorman Vasques (Former VSL Tryout-Tiburones) started at third base and batted eighth.  1-for-5 with one RBI, one strikeout, and three errors.

Anthony Fonseca (VSL) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one RBI, one strikeout, and one error.

 

Lara beat Caracas 7-4

 

Frederick Parejo (Quad Citiies-Aragua) started in left field and batted leadoff.  1-for-5 with one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Romulo Ruiz (Johnson City-Aragua) started at first base and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with one RBI, one sac fly, and one strikeout.

Domnit Bolivar (Quad Cities-Aragua) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and took over shortstop, batting eighth.  1-for-1 with one run.

 

Aragua beat Seattle 6-2

 

Ildemaro Vargas (VSL-Caribes) entered mid-game as a pinch hitter and took over centerfield, batting seventh.  2-for-3 with one double, one run, and one strikeout.

 

NY Mets and Caribes tied 6-6 after 11 innings
