Luhnow on the Cardinals System: Part Four

The St. Louis Cardinals farm director covers a variety of subjects in the fourth of four interviews. The final segment includes Jeff Luhnow's take on where the system is looking to improve, a new project to document "The Cardinal Way", the international initiatives, and interacting with fans.

In the final segment of our exclusive interview with St. Louis Cardinals Vice President of Scouting and Player Development Jeff Luhnow, the organization's farm director concludes with additional specifics on the organization's winter plans and a look forward.

The clip begins with a review of the improvement in the middle infield and the current priority positions for the system. A new project, documenting the elements and details of "The Cardinal Way" of playing and teaching, is introduced.

Moving ahead from the Wagner Mateo situation was next up and an update on Asia initiatives followed.

Tradeoffs in the new areas to social networking, both by the organization and as individuals, were evaluated. The interview came to a close with a special message from the farm director to the fans.
