Arizona Fall League – final stats

 

Tyler Henley (Springfield) played in 16 games going 18-for-60 (.300) with four doubles, one triple, two home runs, seven RBIs, 30 total bases, 11 runs, six walks, nine strikeouts, .358 OBP, .500 SLG, and .858 OPS.

Bryan Anderson (Memphis) played in 14 games going 12-for-47 (.255) with one triple, six RBIs, 14 total bases, seven runs, eight walks, 12 strikeouts, .357 OBP, .298 SLG, and .655 OPS.

Daniel Descalso (Memphis) played in 21 games going 18-for-82 (.220) with four doubles, three RBIs, 22 total bases, 11 runs, 11 walks, one stolen base, ten strikeouts, .313 OBP, .268 SLG, .581 OPS, and one error.

Daryl Jones (Springfield) played in 24 games going 18-for-88 (.212) with five doubles, one triple, two home runs, six RBIs, 31 total bases, 17 runs, 13 walks, six stolen bases, 26 strikeouts, two caught stealing, .333 OBP, .352 SLG, .686 OPS, and one error.

 

Mike Parisi (Memphis) made seven appearances (six starts) posting a 3-2 record, 4.44 ERA, and 1.22 WHIP.  He allowed 26 hits, 14 runs (13earned), one home run, six walks, and struck out 15 over 26.1 innings.

Gary Daley (Springfield) made ten relief appearances posting a 0-0 record, 8.03 ERA, two holds, one save, and 1.86 WHIP.  He allowed 17 hits, 11 earned runs, one home run, six walks, and struck out nine over 12.1 innings.

Scott Gorgen (Springfield) made 11 relief appearances posting an 0-1 record, 7.15 ERA, one hold, one save, and 2.29 WHIP.  He allowed 17 hits, nine earned runs, two home runs, hit one batter, walked nine, and struck out 11 over 11.1 innings.

Adam Reifer (Palm Beach) made 11 relief appearances posting a 0-0 record, 7.59 ERA, two holds, and 1.59 WHIP.  He allowed 11 hits, 10 runs (nine earned), one home run, hit one batter, walked six, and struck out seven over 10.2 innings.

 

 

Mexican Pacific League

 

Mike McCoy (Former Memphis-Culiacan) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-4 with one run and one walk.

The league will hold its annual home run derby on Saturday.

On Sunday, the league will have a meet and greet with the fans and later in the day play the 2009 All-Star game.

 

 

Venezuelan League

 

Dennis Abreu (Former Tennessee-Margarita) started at third base and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with one home run, two RBIs, one run, one walk, one strikeout, and one fielding error.

Kristhiam Linares (Palm Beach Free Agent-Margarita) entered in the seventh and pitched to two batters.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, and struck one out. (p-s:13-8)(ir-s:2-0)

The Washington Nationals announced on Friday they have named St. Louis Cardinals MiLB hitting coordinator Dan Radison as their first base coach.  He is currently the hitting coach for Navegantes del Magallanes. Nationals Official Site
