Mexican Pacific League

 

Mike McCoy (Former Memphis-Culiacan) started at third base and batted second.  2-for-5 with one run.

 

Alberto Castillo (Former MLB Spring Invite-Mochis) started and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed six hits, five runs (four earned), one home run, and hit one batter for the losing decision (0-3).  (g/f:2-2)

Jolbert Cabrera (Former Memphis-Lara) started in centerfield and batted leadoff.  3-for-5 with one double, one two-out RBI, and one run.

 

Pedro Rodriguez (MiLB Signing-Caribes) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs for the save (2). (g/f:1-2)

Ildemaro Vargas (VSL-Caribes) started at shortstop and batted leadoff.  1-for-4 with two runs and one walk.

Jose Calero (GCL-Caribes) started and pitched 4.2 innings.  He allowed six hits, four earned runs, two walks, threw two wild pitches, and struck out seven.  (g/f:5-2)

Dominican League

 

Hector Luna (Former St. Louis-Aguilas) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-3 with one sacrifice and grounded into one double play.

Julian Tavarez (Former St. Louis-Aguilas) entered in the eighth and pitched two innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, hit one batter, and struck out two for the save (1). (g/f:4-0)

 

Ron Belliard (Former St. Louis-Licey) started at second base and batted second.  0-for-3 with one run, one hit by pitch, and assisted in one double play.

Timo Perez (Former St. Louis-Licey) entered in the ninth as a pinch hitter and batted third.  1-for-1 with one two-out RBI.
