Andy Cavazos (Former St. Louis-Guasave) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck one out for the hold (5).  (g/f:2-0)

Reid Gorecki (Former Springfield-Navojoa) started in centerfield and batted third.  0-for-4 with one walk, one strikeout, and one outfield assist.  The New York Yankees have signed Gorecki to a minor league deal.

 

Mike McCoy (Former Memphis-Culiacan) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-5 with one double, one walk, two strikeouts, and grounded into one double play.

Marcos Rodriguez (Former Palm Beach-Caribes) started in left field and batted eighth.  1-for-4 with one two-out RBI and one outfield assist.

Pedro Rodriguez (MiLB Signing-Caribes) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, one home run, and struck one out for the losing decision (5-3). (g/f:0-2)

Cuban left-handed free agent Aroldis Chapman threw for roughly 15 teams in Houston on Tuesday: ESPN

 

ESPN's Jorge Arangure reports that Chapman's former agency API has filed a lawsuit in a civil court against the player and the Hendricks agents for tampering.
