Former Cardinals Watch

 

Sean Danielson signed a minor league deal with the Cincinnati Reds, re-uniting him with former teammate Brandon Yarbrough (2007 Palm Beach) and former GM Walt Jocketty.  Danielson was released by the Boston Red Sox after the 2009 season. 

 

Brian Barton signed a minor league deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers.  The deal comes with an invite to major league spring camp.  Barton was released after the 2009 season by the Atlanta Braves.

 

 

Mexican Pacific League

 

Mike McCoy (Former Memphis-Culiacan) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-4 and assisted in one double play.

 

Andy Cavazos (Former St. Louis-Guasave) entered in the eighth and pitched to two batters, getting both to fly out.  (ir-s:1-0)

Margarita is awaiting Kelvin Jimenez (Former St. Louis) who was supposed to join the team sometime Friday. Francisco Samuel (Springfield), who has been waiting for clearance to pitch for three weeks, is expected on Saturday.  Joel Guzman (Nationals MiLB Free Agent) is having visa problems.  All are on loan from Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican League: Margarita Official Site
