Mexican Pacific League


Andy Cavazos (Former St. Louis-Guasave) entered in the seventh and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck out one.  (g/f:1-2)(ir-s:1-0)


Iker Franco (Former Springfield-Obregon) started at catcher and batted sixth.  1-for-4 with one run and threw out one runner.

Colombian League

On December 24th players from the LCBP will take on the media in a softball game.  The game is to help the league familiarize itself with members of the newspapers and news websites: Team Renteria


For the 2010-2011 season, the league will expand to six teams with new franchises in Bogota and Medellion.  The regular season will begin on October 22, 2010 and each team will play 50 games.  The round robin will consist of four teams and the All-Star weekend will be December 3-4.  Along with the expansion of teams, the rosters will expand to include more foreign-born players: Team Renteria
