Mexican Pacific League Playoffs

 

Amuary Cazana (Memphis-Navojoa) started in left field and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with two RBIs, one run, and two strikeouts.

 

Navojoa beat Hermosillo 8-3

Edgar Gonzalez (Former Springfield-Mazatlan) started at second base and batted third.  1-for-3 with one double, one two-out RBI, one walk, and one fielding error.

 

Mike McCoy (Former Memphis-Culiacan) started at third base and batted leadoff.  2-for-3 with one run, one walk, and one caught stealing.

 

Culiacan beat Mazatlan 4-1

Iker Franco (Former Springfield-Obregon) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and allowed one stolen base.

 

Dan Serafini (Former Memphis-Mexicali) started and pitched 2.2 innings.  He allowed eight hits, six earned runs, one home run, two walks, struck out one, and assisted in one double play. (g/f:5-2)

Hugo Castellanos (Former Memphis-Mexicali) entered in the seventh and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, two unearned runs, and one intentional walk.  (g/f:2-0)

Ivan Maldonado (Former MiLB Spring Invite-Carolina) entered in the eighth and pitched to four batters.  He allowed no hits or runs, two walks, and struck out one for the hold (3).  (g/f:0-1)

 

Prentice Redman (Former Memphis-Ponce) started in left field and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
