Lance Lynn had his second consecutive rough start as the Redbirds lost in Des Moines. Tyler Greene collected the only hit off rehabbing Cubs left-hander Ted Lilly, a first inning solo home run. Those who complain about the high winds in Florida should blame the Palm Beach hitters as they struck out 15 times on the evening and went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.

Two of the Palm Beach runs were unearned as St. Lucie committed two errors.
