Venezuelan free agent signing and catcher Jose Gomez signed on to play for
Aguilas del Zulia in the Venezuelan League. Zulia also landed

they released Joe Rogers (Former Memphis). Rogers made five appearances (four starts)

13 runs (12 earned), one home run, seven walks, and struck out 17 over 27.2
