Saturday's Player of the Day Daniel Calhoun wins for Quad Cities as the system went 1-3. All three losing clubs came up one run short.

Down 3-1 in the eighth, the Redbirds scored three to take the lead, but that was short-lived as the pen gave two back in the bottom of the frame.

The Bandits led the entire way behind a solid start by Daniel Calhoun, followed by Joe Kelly and Aaron Terry. Despite a 2.19 ERA, Calhoun's first decision of 2010 came in his sixth outing and third start. The only Lumberjacks run scored was unearned. Edgar Lara's third inning grand slam was the offensive highlight.
