Venezuelan Summer League Cardinals

 

Newest additions to the 2010 VSL club are right-handed pitchers Alberth Almeida, Silfredo Garcia, Kevin Cueto, Jose Perez, Douglas Planchart, Anderson Gerdel, Geudy Guerra, Jonathan Escudero, and Edubray Ramos; outfielders Jose Martinez (not to be confused with a certain infielder listed at Double-A Springfield) and Johan Aceveda; catcher Jose Gomez; second baseman Lainer Bueno; and utility infielder Ronnierd Garcia.  Most spent time with the organization's team in the Veneuzelan Parallel League over the 2009-10 winter season.

 

The VSL begins their 2010 season on May 17th.
