Sports Illustrated's Melissa Segura tweets that at least five teams are interested in Dominican outfielder Wilmer Romero.

Baseball America's Ben Badler tweets that the Seattle Mariners are expected to sign Colombian right-handed pitcher Jose Torres at a $800,000 bonus.  Badler also released his latest July 2nd Notebook.  Scouts are very high on Mexican pitcher Luis Heredia.  The Toronto Blue Jays and Pittsburgh Pirates are the frontrunners, with the bonus reaching as high as $2.2 million.  The New York Mets and Kansas City Royals appear to have the strongest interest in Colombia's top bat Pedro Perez.  And Dominican left-hander Jose Tovar is rumored to be eyed by the Arizona Diamondbacks.  More updates are within the link.
