Palm Beach Cardinals Notebook 2010: Week 10

Since the beginning of June, the Palm Beach Cardinals' Tommy Pham is hitting over .400.

This report covers the period from Friday, June 11 through Thursday, June 17.

The Palm Beach Cardinals started the week with three days off for the Florida State League All-Star game. Xavier Scruggs reached base four times with three hits including a solo home run during the contest. Palm Beach teammate Rich Racobaldo went 1-for-4 while Tony Cruz went 0-for-2. The Cardinals Mark Diapoules made the start and spun one shutout inning. Reliever Matt Frevert also posted a scoreless frame. Late addition Ramon Delgado pitched 0.2 innings with one of the outs coming via strikeout.

The team seemed to come back rejuvenated after the All-Star break. Palm Beach posted victories at Fort Myers 8-5 and 11-9. The final game of the series was postponed due to rain and will be made up on June 22.
