Interview: Batavia Manager Dann Bilardello

The field manager of the Cardinals New York-Penn League affiliate, the Batavia Muckdogs, discusses his 2010 club.

Despite a 10-13 record heading into Monday's game, many key elements of the 2010 Batavia Muckdogs of the New York-Penn League are showing well.

The offense is fourth in the league in runs scored and fifth in batting average. Four hitters are averaging over .300. The defense has only one defender with more than two errors. Five starting pitchers have ERAs under 3.06 and their two ninth-inning men have a combined strikeout to walk ratio of 33:10.
