Interview: Cards Farm Director Jeff Luhnow

The St. Louis Cardinals VP of Scouting and Player Development discusses a myriad of topics in an in-depth and exclusive audio interview.

As the Batavia Muckdogs visited the Staten Island Yankees this week, a number of the Cardinals staff were present.

Along with special assistant Gaylen Pitts, a former manager of the SI Yanks, Sig Mejdal, senior quantitative analyst and Joe Rigoli, professional scout and Scouting Hall of Famer, the leader of the organization's minor league operations, Vice President of Scouting and Player Development Jeff Luhnow was in the house.

As he does for The Cardinal Nation multiple times each year, Luhnow sat down to answer a series of in depth questions about the state of the system, the draft class, some up and coming players and some injured ones as well as a group of signings hoped for.
