Carlos Matias (7 IP) and Hansel De Los Santos combined for a no-hitter in the Dominican Summer League on an 3-3 Thursday across the Cardinals system.

Veteran lefty Nate Robertson made his Memphis debut and pitched well enough to pick up his first PCL win. Daniel Descalso had his best night by far since returning from the DL ten games ago with a home run and four driven in. Hot-hitting Joe Mather doubled, homered and also plated four.

In his third rehab start, Kyle Lohse was unimpressive despite dropping down a level from Triple-A Memphis. 12 hits and five runs in five innings can't be what anyone wanted. Shortstop Pete Kozma made his 31st error of the season.

Justin Smith didn't have it, yielding all eight Lumberjacks runs in 3 2/3 innings. Daniel Bibona had a nice stint in relief in his second career outing. Jose Rada struck out the side in his Midwest League debut. The offense managed just five singles and fanned 16 times in the Bandits' third consecutive loss to Clinton at home.
