Arizona Fall League: Surprise – Season Over

The Saguaros didn't qualify for this year's Arizona Fall League Championship Game after finishing second place in the AFL's West Valley Division.

The following Rangers prospects saw action for Surprise this fall––RHP Ben Henry, LHP Jimmy Reyes, RHP Ryan Rodebaugh, RHP Ben Rowen, RHP Joe Van Meter, C Kellin Deglan, C/1B Brett Nicholas, INF Hanser Alberto, 1B Chris McGuiness, and INF Luis Sardinas.

World Baseball Classic Qualifiers

Luis Martinez's Colombia club dropped to 1-1 in the qualifying round after falling 7-1 to Brazil on Saturday. Martinez got the start behind the plate, batting sixth, and went 1-for-4 with a walk. He also struck out once.

Dominican Winter League

Despite all their talent, the Tigres del Licey currently sit at the bottom of the Dominican Winter League standings with an 8-16 record. The club lost a 6-4 decision to the Toros on Saturday.

Licey leadoff man and centerfielder Leonys Martin went 0-for-3, striking out twice, but he also drew two walks. First baseman Mike Olt singled once and walked once in five trips, striking out twice as well. Left fielder Engel Beltre came in as a defensive replacement in the sixth inning and lined out to shortstop in his only plate appearance.

Venezuelan Winter League

No Rangers appeared in Venezuela on Saturday.

Liga Paralela (Venezuela Minor League)

There were no Liga Paralela games on Saturday.

Mexican Pacific League

Mazatlan fell to a disappointing 9-22 on the season after Saturday's 8-6 loss in 10 innings. Right fielder Joey Butler walked once in five hitless trips, dropping his batting average to .207.

Jose Felix got the start behind the dish for Guasave and went 1-for-4.

Puerto Rican Winter League

Ponce first baseman Mike Bianucci provided both of his club's runs with a two-run homer in the first inning. Overall, the slugger went 3-for-4 with his first round-tripper and two RBI.

Catcher Jorge Alfaro whiffed once in four hitless at-bats. He also committed his third passed ball of the campaign.

Puerto Rico native Alex de la Cruz gave up a run in 2.2 innings of long relief for Ponce. He yielded four hits and struck out one without walking a batter.

Australian Baseball League

No Rangers appeared in Australia.
