Here's a look at today's games for the Cubs' minor league affiliates

Iowa Cubs (5-9) at Memphis Redbirds (8-6) 6:05 P.M. CST, AutoZone Park

Starting Pitchers: Chris Rusin (1-1, 3.50 ERA) vs. Nicholas Addition (0-1, 7.00 ERA…….Rusin makes his fourth start and is coming off his first win of the season working seven innings and allowing one run against Albuquerque on April 14…….Addition allowed seven hits in four innings vs. Oklahoma City April 15 and opponents are hitting .316 against the lefty.

Cubs Notes: The I-Cubs are 1-7 on the road and 0-1 vs. left-handed pitching…….Ryan Sweeney is hitting .382 for Iowa since being signed as a free agent and leads the team in homers (3) and total bases (26)…….Infielder Brent Lillibridge and LHP Hisanori Takahashi both cleared waivers and have been assigned to the Iowa Cubs. Casey Coleman RHP, was activated from the disabled list and the I-Cubs placed Jaye Chapman on the DL with a left hip strain. RHP Jensen Lewis was released. Cubs 3B Ian Stewart is making the trip to Memphis because of lost at-bats and playing time due to the recent rainouts.

Montgomery Biscuits (8-7) at Tennessee Smokies (9-6) 5:15 P.M. CST, Smokies Park

Starting Pitchers: Jacob Thompson (1-1, 6.30 ERA) vs. Dallas Beeler (0-2, 4.67 ERA)…….Beeler allowed four hits and three runs April 15 vs. Huntsville and has a BAA of .263…….Thompson, a second round pick of the Rays in 2010, got tagged for 11 hits and seven runs April 15 vs. Mobile

Smokies Notes: Tennessee is tied with Birmingham for first place in the North Division and have won four straight……….Jae-Hoon Ha is 5th in the league in hitting at .340…...Justin Bour leads the Southern League with 14 RBI and Christian Villanueva is tied for third with 12.

Tampa Yankees (7-8) at Daytona Cubs (7-8) 6:05 P.M. CST, Jackie Robinson Ballpark

Starting Pitchers: Bryan Mitchell (0-1, 2.12) vs. Ben Wells (1-0, 3.21 ERA)…….Ranked as the Yankees No. 15 prospect by MLB.com, the right hander has a BAA of .194 but has walked seven in 17 innings…….Wells tossed six shutout innings his last start getting the win vs. Clearwater. The righty hasn't had much luck at the Jack this year, allowing 14 hits in eight innings.

Cubs Notes: Dustin Geiger extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a fifth inning single and is hitting .321…….Stephen Bruno had his 12-game hitting streak come to an end Friday night but the second baseman is still hitting .386, 2nd in the FSL…….Daytona's pitching staff has allowed the most walks (67), runs (86). and hits (153).

Doubleheader… Quad Cities River Bandits (9-3) at Kane County Cougars (4-8) 1 P.M. CST, Fifth Third Bank BallPark

Starting Pitchers: Game 1- Brian Holmes (1-0, 3.00 ERA) vs. Pierce Johnson (0-1, 8.59 ERA)…….Holmes, a lefty, allowed two hits in five innings on April 7 at Kane County…….Johnson hasn't been on the mound since April 9 and allowed six hits and five runs vs. River Bandits in the home opener on April 4;……. Game 2- Jordan Jankowski (0-0, 5.14 ERA) vs. Taylor Scott (0-1, 4.50)…….Jankowski pitched 3.2 innings vs. KC on April 7 yielding four hits, a walk and a run…….Scott held QC to one unearned run on four hits with six strikeouts on April 5.

Cougar Notes: Friday night's cancelation snaps a stretch of 92 consecutive regular season home games without a postponement at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark going back to Aug. 8, 201…….Kane County has added LHP Matt Iannazzo to the roster and placed Jose Arias on the disabled list with inflammation in his right elbow. Iannazzo, a graduate of Pittsburgh, made 14 relief appearances at Mesa, Boise, and Daytona last year (1-2, 4.32 ERA, 25IP) after signing as a non-drafted free agent on June 18, 2012…….Rock Shoulders is 2nd in MWL in hits (18), 6th in total bases (25), and 8th in hitting (.367) ……..The Cougars are second in the MWL in hitting .276…….The River Bandits have Carlos Correa, last year's #1 overall pick in the draft by Houston. He's hitting .229 with a homer and 10 RBI.
