Dallas Beeler took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and Tennessee (15-11) got 14 hits in the win over Mississippi (16-11).
At the Plate: The Smokies got all the runs they needed in the fourth when Ronald Torreyes led off with a double and scored on Christian Villanueva's single. After Rubi Silva walked, Johermyn Chavez singled, and when the throw home got by the catcher, Villanueva scored. Jonathan Mota made it 3-0 with a RBI single. C Rafael Lopez blasted his first homer of the season to leadoff the eighth. Mota knocked in his second run of the night with a sacrifice fly in the ninth and Ty Wright added a pinch-hit two-run double.

On the Mound: RHP Dallas Beeler (3-2 2.61 ERA) extended his shutout inning streak to 15 as the right-hander took a no-hitter into the sixth before a double ended his bid for Southern League history. It was the only hit Beeler allowed as he walked three and fanned five in his 75-pitch gem. LHP Zach Rosscup (0-0 1.59) got the final out of the seventh and followed that up with a scoreless eighth. It was his sixth hold of the season. Brian Schlitter (0-1 0.00) pitched in his ninth game and has yet to give up an earned run in 12.1 innings, working the ninth. The Braves loaded the bases on a walk and two singles but the right-hander got the final out.
Daytona 6, Lakeland 2
Daytona (15-12) won is fifth straight as the Cubs had some timely hitting and Austin Kirk won his fourth game downing Lakeland (11-15).
At the Plate: Ben Carhart made it three straight singles in the second scoring Stephen Bruno and Chad Noble made it four in a row as Dustin Geiger came in. Anthony Giansanti, who made several good defensive plays, gave the Cubs the lead for good with a sacrifice fly plating Carhart. Bruno scored on a passed ball in the fourth and Javier Baez and Bruno added RBI hits in the fifth.

On the Mound: Austin Kirk (4-1 3.72 ERA) scattered 10 hits over six innings as the Tigers were only able to plate two runs as the lefty didn't issue a free pass and was the beneficiary of two double plays. Both runs came in the first off Kirk, who faced 25 hitters and got seven groundouts and fanned four. RHP Austin Reed (0-0 9.82 ERA) had his second positive outing allowing a hit and a walk in two innings. David Cales extended his scoreless streak to six innings yielding a hit and a walk in the ninth.
May looks a lot like April for Kane County—another game postponed, this one by rain. The Cougars and Bowling Green will play a doubleheader tomorrow beginning at 4 p.m. Kane County is scheduled to start Tayler Scott and Ian Dickson.
Iowa's game with Round Rock was postponed due to snowy conditions at Principal Park. The game will be made up on June 8 as part of the day-night doubleheader. The I-Cubs host the Oklahoma City Redhawks (Astros) tomorrow at 7:05 p.m.
