Kane County and Quad Cities were rained out and the game will not be made up as the two teams don't meet again in the first half. Which should be just fine with the Cougars as they lost 7-9 games from the River Bandits, including four straight to start the season. The only games the Cougars won was a doubleheader sweep of the Astros Class A affiliate on April 20. The Cougars return home on Friday for a four-game series with Minnesota Twins top-prospect Byron Buxton and the first-place Cedar Rapids Kernals. Buxton will be looking to get even with Kane County's pitching staff going 2-18.
