AAA—Oklahoma City 3, Iowa 2
Iowa plated two runs in the top of the first but didn't score the rest of the night.
At the Dish: It was a good start for Iowa. A hit from Arismendy Alcantara followed by a RBI double from Javier Baez. After an out, Kris Bryant singled to score Baez for a 2-0 lead. They would only get one more hit the rest of the night, a single by Rafael Lopez.
On the Hill: Carlos Pimentel gave up a run in each of the first three innings, one on a solo homer. He fanned five in five innings and allowed three walks and five hits...Alberto Cabrera tossing two scoreless frames and Marcos Mateo tossed a scoreless 8th.
I-Cubs Notes: Kyle Hendricks (10-5, 3.58 ERA) makes the start Sunday night.
AA—Birmingham 13, Tennessee 3
The Barons scored seven times in the fourth and beat Tennessee for the second straight night.
At the Dish: Smokies were held to four hits but did draw nine walks. Tennessee took a 2-0 lead in the first on a RBI double by Stephen Bruno and a RBI single by Charlie Cutler. The didn't score again until the 9th on a RBI groundout by Elliot Soto.
On the Hill: Matthew Loosen got tagged for nine runs, seven earned, in 3.1 innings. He allowed six hits and walked three. P.J. Francescon gave up four runs in 2.2 innings and Zach Cates tossed two scoreless frames.
Smokies Notes: Big news of the day was Jorge Soler's return to the Smokies. He didn't play but could be in the lineup on Sunday.
High A—Daytona 4, Lakeland 2
After being out of action due to a pair of rainouts, Daytona won the opener of a three-game series at Lakeland.
At the Dish: D-Cubs took a 2-0 lead in the 4th on a solo homer by Bijan Rademacher, his fourth, and a passed ball that scored Gioskar Amaya. They added two more runs in the sixth on RBI by Rock Shoulders and Zeke DeVoss. Albert Almora added another multi-hit game to his resume as the 20-year-old was 3-5 with a double.
On the Hill: Nathan Dorris twirled a gem, holding the Tigers to one hit over six innings. He walked four and fanned four. Michael Jensen allowed a run in 1.1 innings and Zack Godley gave up a run over 1.2 frames, earning his second save.
D-Cubs Notes: Tayler Scott (4-6, 5.18 ERA) gets the start on Sunday afternoon.
Low A—Kane County 4, Clinton 0
Duane Underwood tossed six shutout frames and Kane County won for the second straight night in Clinton.
At the Dish: Kane County took a 2-0 lead in the third on a two-run, two-out single off the bat of Carlos Penalver (.230). They added two insurance runs in the 8th on an error and a sacrifice fly by Shawon Dunston. Dunston (.250) was 2-3 with a double and a run scored.
On the Hill: Duane Underwood (3-2, 2.54 ERA) turned in his best outing of the season as the 19-year-old right-hander threw six shutout innings. He fanned six and only surrendered six hits. In his third game back from the DL, Jose Arias (1-1, 1.86 ERA) threw two shutout innings and Michael Heesch (1-0, 2.81 ERA) worked the ninth in his 10th game.
Cougars Notes: Jen-Ho Tseng (3-0, 3.22 ERA) gets the start Sunday afternoon as the Cougars go for the sweep.
Short-Season—Boise 15, Eugene 2
The Hawks batted around in the third and the sixth as they pounded Eugene for the first time this season.
At the Dish: Boise had 15 hits, three coming from Danny Canela (.321). He also knocked in a pair and scored once.....Justin Marra (.286) smacked his fourth homer and ended the night with four RBI.....Jason Vosler made his pro debut and walked with the bases loaded for his first RBI, and then singled for his first pro hit.....Chesny Young ripped a pinch-hit RBI single in the 6th in his NWL debut......Charles White (.208) went 2-4 with 2 RBI and Jeffrey Baez launched his NWL best 6th homer, knocked in three and scored twice. Rasheed Crawford (.269) scored twice on two singles and Mark Zagunis (.400) went 1-4 with two runs.
On the Hill: Trevor Graham (3-1, 4.74 ERA) got the win, fanning eight in five innings. He was charged with two runs on four hits and three walks......Jasvir Rakkar (0-1, 11.88 ERA) threw three shutout innings and Trey Lang's (0-0. 0.96 ERA) scoreless streak was snapped as he allowed a run in ninth.
Hawks Notes: Ben Wells (0-2, 5.54 ERA) gets the ball on Sunday.

Charcer Burks (9th round-'13) his hitting .405/.432/.619 in 11 games and leads the team with nine RBI, 13 runs, six stolen bases and 17 hits.....Eloy Jimenez is 6-14 (.429) with a homer and four knocked in while Kevonte Mitchell (13th round-14) is 4-8.......C Alberto Mineo is off to a great start, hitting .400/.471/.500 in eight games....Bryant Flete is 9-25 (.360) and Gleyber Torres is 13-40 in 10 games with a slash line of .325/.429/.450.

Cubs snapped a two-game losing streak with a won over the Mets
At the Dish: Robert Garcia (.288) slugged his first pro homer, a two-run shot in the 5th. He added a RBI in the Cubs two-run third. Franklin Tineo (.198) was 1-2 with a double, scored twice and knocked in a run. Frandy Delarosa (.250) tripled and Yohan Matos (.324) was 1-3.
On the Hill: Andri Rondon improved to 2-0, allowing two runs, one earned, in 6.2 innings. He fanned five and walked one, lowing his ERA to 3.07. Assael Aquino (0-0 3.38 ERA) recorded his first save with three punchouts in 2.1 scoreless frames.
