Junior Lake extended his hitting streak to seven games with a single and two RBI in Estrellas’ 9-7 win. Ivan Pineyro left his AFL start after facing three batters.

Arizona Fall League
Ivan Pineyro’s outing lasted 12 pitches before leaving with an injury. He struckout the first hitter, got the second batter to line out, and walked the third hitter before exiting. According to Kimberly Contreras of Oakland Clubhouse, Pineyro was removed from the game as a precautionary measure for a forearm issue. Pineyro missed most of 2014 with a forearm stain......Daniel Vogelbach didn’t get the start but pitch-hit for Matt Olson (A’s) in the third after Olsen got into a collision at first. The left-hander went 0-for-2 with a walk........Gerardo Concepcion (1-0, 6.10 ERA, 10.1 IP) worked two innings and was charged with an unearned run. The lefty surrendered three hits and recorded a strikeout in his 32-pitch outing.

Venezuelan Winter League
Alberto Diaz pitched in his second game and has yet to retire a hitter. After walking a batter in the only hitter he faced in his debut. Diaz, who pitched for Boise and Kane County in 2014, allowed a singled in the sixth to the only hitter he faced in La Guaria’s 8-3 loss to Aragua.

Dominican Winter League
Junior Lake (.324) extended his hitting streak to seven games and knocked in two runs in Estrellas’ 9-7 win over Gigantes. Besides a RBI single in the eighth, Lake added another RBI, was hit by a pitch, walked, scored once, and stole his fifth base. Marcos Mateo picked up his fourth save, allowing a run in 1.1 innings with three punchouts......Former Cubs left-hander Brooks Raley (0-1, 2.57 ERA) got the start for Gigantes and allowed four runs on a pair of two-run homers in three frames.

Mexican Pacific Winter League
Christian Villanueva had the night off as Obregon beat Jalisco 8-4.
