Licey’s Arismendy Alcantara got his first hit of the year and was promptly picked off first during the Tigers’ 1-0 loss to Estrellas. Alcantara finished 1-for-3.....After throwing several punches during a fight in Monday night’s game against Aguilas, Junior Lake was back in the lineup for Estrellas. Lake was 0-4 and is hitting .244. Marcos Mateo picked up his 11th save with a 1-2-3 9th with two strikeouts......DH Manny Ramirez (.304) continues to square up baseballs in the DWL with a double (5), a walk, and scored once in Aguilas’ 7-3 win over Escogido. Aguilas’ Frank Batista improved to 3-1, working 5.1 innings in the start. He allowed three runs on five hits and two walks and fanned a a pair.

John Andreoli (.244) extended his hitting streak to six games with a single in five trips to the plate in San Juan’s 8-3 win over Caguas. He also walked. Jonathan Mota (.261) double in a run and scored twice in the victory.
