Pacific Coast League—AAA—Iowa vs. Reno (Diamondbacks)—Rained Out
Cubs and Aces were rained out and the game will be made up as a twin-bill on Tuesday with first pitch at 5:08 p.m. CST. Felipe Paulino (0-1, 6.75 ERA) and Carlos Pimentel (2-2, 4.95 ERA) are scheduled to pitch.

Southern League—AA—Tennessee
Smokies have the day off and host Mobile (Diamondbacks) in a five-game series that gets underway on Wednesday night with Jeffry Antigua (2-2, 3.21 ERA) on the mound.

Carolina League—High A—Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach had the day off and head to Carolina for a three-game set that starts on Wednesday night. Jonathan Martinez (2-1, 2.65 ERA) gets the start against the Mudcats.

Midwest League—Low A—Daytona (Reds) 4, South Bend 0
South Bend only managed four hits and were shutout by Dayton in the opening game of the series.

Hitting Recap: Yasiel Balaguert went 2-for-4 and collected the Cubs only extra base hit, a double. Gleyber Torres went 1-for-3 with a walk and Cael Brockmeyer singled three at-bats.

Pitching Chart: Zach Hedges (2-4, 4.78 ERA) threw 6.1 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks. He fanned two, gave up a solo homer in first, and had a game score of 43.....Tommy Thorpe worked 1.2 frames of scoreless ball but allowed an inherited runn to score. Thorpe gave up three hits, hit a batter, threw a wild pitch and fanned three.

Cub (3-5) came out on the short end of a slugfest with the Rays (3-5).

Hitting Recap: Lots of hitting stars in this one. CF Jose Gonzalez (.281) knocked in five runs, two coming on his first career homer. He also singled, walked once and stole his 4th base.....Jose Rojas (.265) launched his first pro homer, a solo shot, and finished 3-for-5......Luis Ayala (.360) went 3-for-3 with two doubles, four runs scored, two stolen bases and a RBI..... Henrry Pedra and Francisco Garay also plated runs.

Pitching Chart: All four of the Cubs pitchers allowed runs. Emilio Ferrebus gave up four runs over four frames and Bryan Molina surrendered four in 1.1 innings. Jesus Arias got charged with a blown save and took the loss, giving up four runs in two innings and also allowed all three inherited runners to score.
