After a 1-2-3 first, a one-out double opened the door in the second as a walk, a ground out and a single made in 2-0. A double and two walks loaded the bases in the fourth, and a sacrifice fly scored another. Johnson ended the game with 79 pitches, 46 for strikes, and a line of 4 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K. RH Armando Rivero worked a scoreless fifth and fanned the side in the sixth but an error and a double plated a run.
