Clayton Kershaw blanked the Cubs for seven innings on two hits and Kenley Jansen retired all six hitters he faced, four on strikes as the Dodgers evened the sires wiht a 1-0 win at Wrigley on Sunday night.The only run came in the second, a solo homer by Adrian Gonzalez off losing pitcher Kyle Hendricks. The Cubs right-hander fanned five over 5.1 innings. Game 3 is Tuesday night as the Cubs send Jake Arrieta to the mound at Dodger Stadium. La counters with former Cub Rich Hill.

Arizona Fall League

Venezuelan Winter League

For the second time in nine games, 2B Bryant Flete (.353) went hitless, going 0-for-3 in Zulia’s 1-0 win over Lara....3B Gioskar Amaya (.455) went 1-for-4 in Aragua’s 7-1 loss to Magallanes.

Mexican Pacific Winter League

DH Christian Villanueva (.294, 5-for-17, 1 HR) went 0-for-3 with a walk in Obregon’s 4-3 loss to Jalisco. Villanueva is seeing his first action since breaking his leg in spring training.
