He only went one inning. After a scoreless second, RH Aaron Brooks struggled in the third, allowing thee hits to load the bases and then hit a pair of batters to force in two runs. RH Dallas Beeler hit the third batter of the frame to make it 4-0, walked in a run, and the Reds made it 6-0 on a RBI groundout. Casey Kelly tossed two innings in his second appearance, allowing a run on two hits and a walk with two punchouts. RH Maikel Cleto pitched a 1-2-3 sixth. LH Brian Duensing was greeted with a solo homer to start the seventh and finished the frame without any more damage.  Right-handers Jim Henderson and Jordan Pries both threw a scoreless inning.
