Matt Clement goes for his fourth straight win Saturday in what will be his first start away from Wrigley Field since April 8 at Cincinnati. Clement has since gone 3-0 with a 0.89 ERA over his last three starts, and has struck 26 batters in that time, walking only nine. Clement is coming off a career-high 13 strikeouts against the New York Mets last Sunday. The 29-year-old right-hander will look for his first career victory against the Cardinals. Lifetime in seven starts versus the Redbirds, he is 0-3 with a 5.27 ERA, including 0-1 in four starts at Busch Stadium.

Jeff Suppan has been a pretty solid acquisition since coming over to St. Louis from the Boston Red Sox in the off-season. His only problem this year has been winning at home, where he is 0-2 with a 6.55 ERA in two starts. During that time, he's given up four homeruns. Suppan has faced the Cubs only three times in his career. He has a 4.34 ERA lifetime against the North siders.
