DES MOINES, Iowa - Photos from Day 2 of Iowa Cubs FanFest 2005 at the Drake University Knapp Center.


Iowa Cubs broadcaster Deene Ehlis interviews Baseball Hall of Famer Dave Winfield before an autograph signing session during day two of this year's Iowa Cubs Fanfest.

Winfield is assisted by Cubs Asst. Media Director Matt Nordby while signing autographs for appreciative fans Saturday.

Winfield talks with David Chavez, President of Pro Sports MVP events promotions. David ("Chevy") was clubhouse manager for the I-Cubs back in the early 1990's.

Minor leaguers Joel Hanrahan and Wes Obermueller sign autographs at Saturday's Fanfest.

Hall of Famer Paul Molitor is assisted by Cubs Media Relations Director Jeff Lantz. Molitor was inducted into the Hall last year.

Cleveland Indians infielder Casey Blake at one of the autograph booths on the floor of the Drake University Knapp Center. Blake, 31, was born in Des Moines and currently resides there.

Major League umpire Tim McCelland signs autographs at Saturday's Fanfest. Fellow MLB umpire Eric Cooper stands along side McClelland. Both McClelland and Cooper reside in Des Moines. McClelland is known for two major incidents in the Major Leagues: the first being the infamous George Brett "Pine Tar" incident at Yankee Stadium and more recently when Sammy Sosa was found guilty of using a corked bat.

Larry Woolis has been the team photographer of the Iowa Cubs for over 20 seasons.
