All Hawks games are broadcast on ESPN Radio 1350 AM "The Ticket," and over the web at www.boisehawks.com.
"We are pleased to have Inside The Ivy involved in our pre-game show and look forward to all of the reports from around the Cubs' farm system," Hawks General Manager Todd Rahr said in a statement. "We are truly the starting point for most of these future major leaguers, and having Steve with the inside knowledge of all that is going on is a good thing for us to have on the air."
Paul Chiofar comes to Boise after serving as play-by-play broadcaster for several minor league teams on the west coast, including the Bakersfield Blaze of the California League. He replaces Mike Safford, who serves as Sports Information Director at Albertson Community College in Boise.
"I'm very excited to be here in Boise," Chiofar said. "Boise is a beautiful city, which has very supportive fans. I'm very excited to bring baseball to folks who aren't always at the park on a regular night. We're also really excited to have Steve as a guest on our program again this year."
The Boise Hawks have been the Class-A, short-season affiliate of the Cubs since 2001. The Hawks will be managed this season by Steve McFarland. Dave Rosario returns for another season as Hawks pitching coach and Kevin Green will serve as hitting coach.

"It is an honor for me to continue our association with the Hawks," said Holley, who has also served as a guest with play-by-play announcer Deene Ehlis on Iowa Cub pre-game broadcasts and has conducted hundreds of interviews with Cub prospects, coaches and front office members over the years.
"I look forward to getting to know Paul as I did his predecessor, Mike Safford, plus continuing our work with Todd Rahr, Dina Duncan, Ken Hyde and everyone else with the Hawks."
