Prospect Power Rankings: Week 4

Special consideration is given for the past week's action, which can wreck havoc on the lists from update to update. Rankings, however, are primarily compiled on an overall season-to-date basis. Statistics updated through May 7.

1. Mark Holliman: SP, Tennessee (Double-A)
2007 Stats: 4-0, 0.55 ERA, 33 IP, 26 K, 6 BB, .211 AVG
Last Week: First.

The numbers speak for themselves. The right-hander is making it look easy with a win in four straight starts, having not allowed more than one run (earned) in a game this season.

2. Micah Hoffpauir: 1B, Iowa (Triple-A)
2007 Stats: .310 AVG, 5 HR, 27 RBI, .357 OBP
Last Week: Third/Highest Ranking: First.

The first baseman was bound to slack off somewhat after hitting over .400 through the first two weeks of the season. He's been bothered by a sore right shoulder recently, but is still on pace for one of his best halves yet.

3. Tyler Colvin: OF, Daytona (Class High-A)
2007 Stats: .311 AVG, 2 HR, 22 RBI, .345 OBP
Last Week: Fourth.

5. Mitch Atkins: SP, Daytona
2007 Stats: 2-1, 2.16 ERA, 25 IP, 22 K, 5 BB, .205 AVG

Atkins has been aggressive and pitched to contact this season. The results have been there despite an average of five innings per start.

6. Jake Fox: C/OF/INF, Tennessee
2007 Stats: .330 AVG, 4 HR, 22 RBI, .345 OBP

8. Matt Craig: 3B, Tennessee
2007 Stats: .359 AVG, 3 HR, 14 RBI, .438 OBP

Hasn't missed a beat since he recently returned from a small hip injury suffered during a collision at home plate late last month.

2007 Stats: 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 14.2 IP, 17 K, 7 BB, .188 AVG
