Prospect Podcast: Clay Rapada

METAIRIE, La. -- After working his way onto the Cubs' 40-man roster last off-season, Clay Rapada has appeared in a team-high 53 games for Triple-A Iowa in 2007. With just over a week remaining in minor league play for most Cubs affiliates, Rapada is feeling the wear and tear of the season.

Rapada took the loss for Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday night, walking three straight batters (two intentionally) to force home the winning run.

The left-hander made his big league debut back on June 14 against Seattle when he faced one batter in the Cubs' 5-4 win over the Mariners.

In 53 innings this season, Rapada is 6-2 with a 3.74 ERA and 17 saves.
