Bellamy sets final visit

Davin Bellamy has been committed to Florida State since August, but he is looking at other options. A new option was presented to him Tuesday morning and he is going to visit that school this weekend.

Davin Bellamy has visited Florida State, Tennessee, and Georgia over the last three weekends, but this weekend, he will leave the south for his final visit before signing day.

"I am going to take an official visit to Oregon this weekend," Davin Bellamy told Scout Tuesday afternoon. "Coach [Don] Pellum and Coach [Mark] Helfrich stopped by today and offered me a scholarship."

The Ducks are trying to make a late run at the 6-foot-5, 225 pound defensive end out of Chamblee, Ga. He has been committed to Florida State for five months now, but he recently named Georgia and Tennessee his top two.

When asked why he is visiting Oregon, he said, "It is different out there and I want to check it out."

Bellamy is scheduled to meet with FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher Wednesday night.
