We are limping into Sept. Colletti should at least add Joc, Reed and Lee to 40 man soon to provide depth. Then bring up YGarcia who is closing in AAA and Guerrero as an extra bat/IF glove. Put Fife to 60 day DL DFA triunfel Make Perez 60 day dl...that allows us to bring up Joc, Lee and Reed, all of which will be 40 man roster guys anyway in 3 months.
Zach Lee could pitch Thursday for greinke and frais can be long relief if needed. Putting five on 60 asked Lee to go 40 man, then drop down Rojas for a few games we have enough back n up infielders. Urias does not have enough pitches to do well as SP..Lee is a better choice.
Wednesday night game the Dodgers are in a funk and they seldom come out of it in the late innings. There are not enough real aggressive hitters on this team. Not consistently. Their funks last for an entire nine inning loss.No come back likely, it statisticallydoes not happen. Hope I am wrong this time.
How is that July 31st dealine look now? How is that adding NO SP or pen looking now? We will lose the divison and waste another year with lack of inaction. Hope they are willing to spend BIG in the off season to get another ACE and pen arms.
I am not sure what was worse about last night's game, watching the Dodgers' offense make Stults look like Kershaw or listening to Rick Sutcliffe talking like he is still bitter about his time with the Dodgers.
I don't like watching ESPN any longer. They have an east coast bias and do not cover baseball that well. If you watch ESPN or listen to ESPN radio all the talk about is football (either pro or college), basketball (either pro or college), when they cover baseball it is to talk about the Yankees or Red Sox. Rick Sutcliffe sounded just like Joe Morgan when ever he talked about the Dodgers. Give me the MLB Network for baseball and the NFL Network for football.
