-John Ely pitched 8 shutout innings and the offense gave him a pair of runs for the win, but Wil Ledezma allowed a 2 run homer to tie the game. In the bottom of the 9th, Josh Fields and Jeff Baisley hit back to back 1 out singles and Luis Cruz doubled in Fields to walk-off a winner.
-Ethan Martin bounced back from a 3 run outing to go 5 shutout innings. He struggled with control but surrendered just 2 hits and no runs. However, another blown save led to extra innings. In the 12th, Pedro Baez drew a 1 out walk. followed by Travis Denker getting plunked by a pitch. A Jake Lemmerman fly ball would allow Baez to advance to 3rd. Up next was Angelo Ponte, who would work a walk. When ball 4 escaped the catcher, Baez would come home to score on a walk-off wild pitch.
-Austin Gallagher collected his 11th double but the offense could muster just 5 hits and 2 runs. All three outfielders collected assists, with Joc and Jon throwing out runners at 2nd while Leon nailed a runner at home. Brandon Martinez suffered his first loss in High A, raising his ERA to a still respectable 3.60.
-O'Koyea Dickson just keeps on hitting, collecting his 4th homer while raising his OPS to 1.169. The 22 year old has played just 16 games with the Loons but is quickly proving to be a cut above Low A. JB3 had the best game of his career, going 5 for 5 with a double and a pair of steals. This raised his batting average back over the Mendoza line.
