After starting the game late due to weather the Lookouts took the field against the Braves in the fourth game of the series. Chattanooga trailed Mississippi in the series 2-1 but made it up for it tonight with a win.
The game remained scoreless between the Lookouts and the Braves until the 11th inning when Bobby Coyle hit a line drive to center field that brought in Sean Burroughs for the winning run.
Although the game went into extra innings the Lookouts only used three pitchers throughout the game starting with Rob Rasmussen who pitched for six innings. Rasmussen, pitching the longest out of the three, struck out five batters, walked two and allowed four hits.
The most impressive of the pitchers tonight was Yimi Garcia who pitched for the last three innings, allowed for no hits, and struck out five batters as well with no walks.
Michael Thomas stepped on the mound tonight striking out three batters and allowing one hit.
With the series now tied at 2-2 the last game is the tipping point for the win.
