Chattanooga Loses Game Three

Chattanooga falls to the Montgomery Biscuits in the third game of the series 4-3.

After leading Chattanooga through the firsta 1-0 lead after the fourth inning with pitcher Andres Santiago, the Lookouts swapped in Hector Nelo half way through the seventh inning.

Santiago pitched for the Lookouts a little over six innings before Nelo replaced him.

Nelo walked onto the field with two runners already on base and gave up a three run homer and the lead to the Biscuits 3-1.

The Lookouts removed Nelo from the mound at the start of the next inning, putting in Michael Thomas to wrap up the eighth inning. Thomas allowed for one run in his inning along with two hits.

After putting another run on the board in the eighth inning and a scoreless ninth by Montgomery the Lookouts found themselves in a good spot to make a comeback in the bottom of the ninth.

Chattanooga found itself with only one out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth with Brian Cavazos-Galvez up to bat.

Galvez hit a ground ball to third base, bringing in Miguel Rojas and moving Rafael Ynoa to third, but left a force out at second for Joc Pederson.

Chattanooga Lookouts Manager Jody Reed confronted the third base umpire, Alex Ransom, on the call. Soon after Ransom ejected Reed from the game forcing Jody to leave the field with the standing call of out at second.

J.T. Wise finished the game soon after with a force out at second leaving the Lookouts at a 4-3 loss against the Biscuits and the third loss of the five game series.

The Lookouts first run came in the fourth inning when Sean Burroughs hit a double to right field and brought in Galvez.
