Stripling Sizzles in Win Against Biscuits

Chattanooga wins the last game of the series against the Montgomery Biscuits 5-0.

As the Lookouts fans celebrated the Star Wars themed baseball game and post game fireworks the Chattanooga celebrated their second win against the biscuits.

During the five game series the Lookouts have only been able to win twice, but this marks the first time the Lookouts kept the Biscuits scoreless.

Ross Stripling led the Lookouts on the mound for eight innings. Stripling showed off his skills for the packed crowd striking out four batters and only allowing two hits in his eight innings on the mound.

The Lookouts offense made quick work of Montgomery's defense tonight scoring five overall runs in four innings.

Chattanooga's first run came in the first inning when Angelo Songco grounded out, giving Rafael Ynoa a chance to score.

The Lookouts scored again just an inning later when Miguel Rojas doubled on a line drive, which brought in Sean Burroughs for the second run of the game.

Chattanooga was able to string together two runs in the fifth inning when Bobby Coyle singled to right field that brought in Joc Pederson and Osvaldo Martinez for two RBI's.

Chattanoooga's last run of the game was in the sixth when Songco hit a sacrifice fly ball to right field to bring in Pederson.

With the series against the Biscuits concluded the Lookouts would go on the road to Huntsville to take on the Stars.

This will be the second time this month that the Lookouts will travel to the Stars home stadium.

Chattanooga was able to win the series last time with a 3-2 winning record.
