Hyun-Jin Ryu picked up his 1 st win of the year today. Actually it’s his first win since 2014 due to injuries.
He has been steadily improving his velocity, and today mixing up his pitches a bit more to throw hitters off until his
velocity is fully back. A look at his Dodger career is at 29-20 with a 3.33 era, very respectable but this was before
the injury. Hopefully, and the Dodgers are betting on a bounce back year for him.
At 30 years old he is in the prime pitching years and has a chance to be an important part of a
championship year. He has great control as his strikeout to walk ratio is 3.7 strikeouts to every walk. He is getting
