Chris Taylor RAKES

Chris Taylor RAKES

Kenta Maeda had a rough start giving up three runs in the first inning, but righted the ship and

managed to not give up any more and went on to get his 4 th win. Hyun-Jin Ryu went the rest of the way

for an unusual 4 inning save, as the Dodgers took care of the Cardinals 7-3. The hot hand on the offense

these days is Chris Taylor who went 3 for 4 today to raise his batting average to .344 with an OPS of

1.026. Which is outstanding, Taylor has been used all over, primarily a 2 nd baseman he played center

field tonight and is proving to be one of the best pickups the Dodgers have done.

His exit velocity has been on average at 92 mph with a launch angle at 9.10 degrees. This shows

he’s a low line drive or ground ball hitter. Like most high average hitters he sprays the ball to all fields.

He swings at pitches in the strike zone about 69% of the time, making contact with the ball 83% of the
